Schools include Tiffin and the Surrey Grammars, St. Paul’s Girls School, Lady Eleanor Holles, Latimer Upper, North London Schools Consortium, Moor House, Alleyn’s, Dulwich College, King’s College School and Westminster Cathedral Choir School. I cover all areas of KS1 and KS2 and will deliver exam preparation, booster sessions, catch-up programmes or ongoing development. As a 2:1 History and English graduate, I also tutor GCSE English.
Belleville School, London
For the last two years, I have tutored regularly at Belleville Primary School, as part of a Pupil Premium programme, delivering sessions to socially disadvantaged children who would otherwise be unlikely to benefit from a tutor. In my first year, I taught a range of KS2 groups in both numeracy and literacy. For my second year, I tutored a Belleville student for 11+ entry. He excelled at his entrance exams and achieved a scholarship/bursary place at Dulwich College and Kings College School Wimbledon.
For Mary Louise Clark & Associates, I have written training scenarios and participated in training programmes for, among others, the Department of Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform and the Crown Prosecution Service.
Foreign and Commonwealth Office Training Programmes
I helped devise and deliver a wide range of courses to hundreds of civil servants at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and associated organisations. These covered all grades and were focussed on improving communication skills and used dynamic role-play and forum theatre techniques . The VOICE courses included Interview Skills, Managing Performance, Managing Under-performance, Personal Impact, Diversity Awareness, Presentation Skills and Difficult Conversations. In their feedback over several years, delegates frequently rated our programmes as outstanding, invaluable and sometimes revelatory.
As a core associate of VOICE experiential training, I deliver a range of unique communication programmes across both the public and private sectors, allowing delegates to practice their skills within a supportive but challenging environment. Clients have included the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, FCO Services, HM Treasury, MacMillan Publishing, American Express. Arab Bank and HMRC.
